ITEM 1:

I always understood that had if Pope Pius XII had simply stated to the world laity that genocide of any people was unchristian and could not be tolerated, the Nazi leadership of The Third Reich could NOT have convened the "Wansee Conference" ....that infamous conference in which genocide of the Jews specifically, Gypsyies, Slavs and inferior races was to be raised to a devastating efficiency through the use of modern industrial production line technology.

In "A Moral Reckoning: The Role of the Catholic Church in the Holocaust and Its Unfulfilled Duty of Repair" by Daniel Jonah Goldhagen, Goldhagen charges that the Catholic leadership not only gave tacit consent to the genocide by its usual silence of omission, as you well know from reading my work...they encouraged participation in the Holocaust!!!

My story is just a small part of a large moral, ethical and spiritual failure of a spiritually bankrupt leadership. Unfortunately, the good people of the Catholic laity are between a rock and a hard place with no place to turn....how they solve it and still live with themselves as followers of Christ is a dilemna especially since noone seems to notice that the Catholic church has discarded the Bible a long time ago.

Open Letter To the People of the World Wide Web

I have been severely hurt economically, personally and spiritually by The University of San Francisco and the Shriners Hospital Group!!

Someone once said, “If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything!” I’m afraid this is where the Catholic leadership is today. They stand for nothing, therefore they fall for anything. The Catholic Leadership has betrayed its followers in every respect and is now I’m afraid to say a morally, ethically and spritually bankrupt society of individuals.

The discovery that the Catholic Clergy leadership since 1967 has been allowing pedophile priests to be shunted from parish to parish sexually abusing our children (the numbers of which are still not accounted for) in every corner of our country with impunity in contravention of our criminal laws...making themselves laws unto themselves for their own aggrandizement is a testament to that moral, ethical and spiritual bankruptcy of which I speak.

Before the current scandal.....sexual abuse of our children came to light.... what I have to tell you, you would not believe. You would call me a disgruntled old fogey or worst, but, now my credibility is much enhanced. To make a long story short, I have published here my letter pleading with the highest local Catholic authority I could think of in this area, for compassion, understanding, and reaching out for human succor and intervention to help prevent me from falling into poverty and squalor. I asked for simple human decency.

My three entreaties to Pope John Paul II fell on deaf ears, he did not even bother to write me a screw you letter, as did Archbishop Levada and Cardinal Mahoney.  I think the Catholic leadership believes, as they did for over thirty years with the sexual abuse of children scandal,  that if they ignore the cries of the suffering in the wilderness, they might just go away, through death.  Well, the cries of the sexually abused did not go away.  Neither will my cry of foul play go away.

I have published here the two screw you letters which essentially say that it is not “OUR JOB”, to intercede for you, using our moral authority to right the injustice delivered against you. My question to you, the thinking, caring people of the World Wide Web “Who’s job is it, to prevent homelessness, to prevent the economic destruction of a senior citizen who “honored his mother and father” and protected his mothers personal dignity and physical well being as she asked him to do for her, as she slowly withered away into death over six years and a few months.

I can still win this battle for my own personal dignity, self-respect and economic health.  I need the help of the caring people of the World Wide Web and that help can take one of three forms or all three.

1.  You can do a letter writing campaign to the Catholic leadership and the Shriner Leadership:

I’ve been trying to get The San Francisco Chronicle and The San Jose Mercury News and the local Television news organizations to cover this important story for three years. Whether it is out of fear of the advertizing power of these organizations I don’t know...now let them fear YOU!! Demand that they contact me and write this story.

I invite Documentary Makers to contact me. This is a classic Michael Moore “Roger and Me” story. It would be explosive on film.

2. You can send me your name and phone number and say that you are willing to stand with me in a public protest demonstration in front of the University of San Francisco campus to demand answers as to why they seem to put power and money before human compassion and human decency.

Note: If they don’t want to help prevent homelessness and deprevation then we need to demand they become business profit centers and pay taxes like all the other businesses in our society.

3. Most important!! I need your financial help to keep from falling into bankruptcy and destitution and through lack of money continuing my investigative, legal and social struggle:

a. You can donate directly to me to the address below, keep in mind that your donations are coming from your heart and are not tax deductible.

b. You can send $10.00 for the letter package.

 1. My letter to the Catholic and Shriner Leadership

 2. My three letters to Pope John Paul II

 3. The Archbishops and the Cardinals answer.

 4. A picture of me serving my country in the surrounded  enclave of Berlin in the then West Germany.

c.  You can send $25.00 for my book: Caregivers Under Siege, this price includes postage, handling and sales taxes.
